how to enrol

MD College student recruitment is ethical in the manner it is carried out and falls in accordance with Access and Equity principles. There is open access to courses for all student’s subject to meeting course criteria and fee structure.

Scheduled interviews and or open days are set to invite prospective students to the College. A tour and face to face conversations with course advisors and training staff will ensure all pre-enrolment information is covered and relevant documentation is completed or taken away for further reflection.

After we have found out a little bit about the student, the ability to study and what they hope to achieve at the end of studying with MD College, we move on to ensure we have covered the following information;

The pre-enrolment information including courses we have on scope at MD College, pathways and opportunities, rights and responsibilities, delivery options, kits, resources and orientation day. We also discuss course Intake dates, duration, fees, payment options and payment plans.

The student may to choose to enrol on the day, take home the information and reflect or complete an enrolment application on line, any of these are possible. Upon the completion of the application for enrolment, a pre-enrolment assessment test LLN (qualification specific) will be completed, all relevant points of Identification are obtained and copied to assist the application. A deposit is then taken, and any additional information (USI, Credit transcripts or RPL documentation is collected and copied and attached to the file)

The application will be processed by the enrolments team, the student will be notified in writing of the approval outcome. A letter of acceptance will need to be sent in response accepting a place within the chosen course.

The student will then receive a copy of the enrolment information and complete the checklist the following information;

A copy of the enrolment and relevant course related material, an invoice and payment schedule, a copy of the refund policy.

The student will be given the date and time of the orientation.

(If the student is under the age of 18 they will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian to the Open day or the Interview and all relevant documentation required by MD College is to be co-signed by the parent or guardian)
